Say hello to Addison, a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix with the softest eyes and a heart that’s just starting to bloom. Addison is around 2 years old and recently arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we’re still getting to know all the wonderful things about her. When she first came in, she was a little shy (new places can be scary!), but each day she’s becoming more comfortable and showing us her sweet personality. As Addison warms up, she’s started giving gentle kisses and leaning in for affection from her favorite people. She’s proving to be a very sweet girl who just needs a little patience and kindness while she finds her confidence.We’re excited to keep learning more about Addison, but one thing is already clear — she has so much love to give. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home.
