He seemed to do well with her kids, but shelter life has been a big change for him, and he’s feeling quite shy as he adjusts. Underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy who truly wants to trust. Once Salem feels safe, he slowly warms up and shows his gentle side. Every day he’s taking small steps forward, and we’re getting little glimpses of the loving companion he can become.Salem is looking for a calm, patient home where someone will let him set the pace and show him that he’s finally safe for good.
