Hi, Iâm Oriole. Iâm a 6-month-old kitten, and like my brother Junco, Iâve had a slow and thoughtful start to life. Iâve been at the shelter for a long time, mostly because the world felt very big and very scary when I first arrived. With time, patience, and a lot of gentle care from the staff, Iâve started to feel safer and show who I really am.I can still be shy, especially in new situations, but Iâm quietly curious and always paying attention. I like to observe before I join in, and once I know Iâm safe, I enjoy calm companionship and soft moments. I do best with another cat aroundâhaving a confident feline friend helps me learn how to play, relax, and just be a cat. Iâm much braver when Iâm not doing things alone.Iâm looking for a peaceful home with patient humans who will let me move at my own pace and a kitty friend who can help guide me along. If you have a gentle heart and believe that trust is something earned over time, Iâd love the chance to grow with you.One of the biggest and most exciting times in anyone's life is adopting a new kitten!
