He will need a dedicated adopter who understands the importance of a healthy weight-loss plan. Once Buttons safely sheds some pounds, he will need a dental procedure, which can only be done when he is at a healthier weight to ensure anesthesia is as safe as possible.An ideal home for Buttons is one that’s committed to helping him succeed—monitoring his diet, encouraging gentle activity, and working closely with the shelter and his regular veterinarian to reach his weight-loss goals.
