Your rabbit will have less destructive and territorial behaviors as a result. Rabbits live for 8 to 10 years. That’s a lot of time to enjoy snuggles and funny tricks. An adopted rabbit may be already socialized to people or may need a little help from you. You join an active rabbit rescue community! There is a lot of support available to help you with any type of question you might have.How to prepare your home for your new rabbit A large play pen, bunny proofed room, or a large dog crate make great bunny housing. Once fully litter trained, some bunnies may have free run of their home! A typical daily rabbit diet is unlimited hay, good quality rabbit pellets, fresh greens, and plenty of clean water. Toys!
