About Grant
Ruff Love Foster Care and Dog Rescue
RescueThe mission of Ruff Love Rescue (www.ruffloverescue.com) is to provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, neglected, and/or abandoned dogs; especially those seen as poor adoption prospects. We maintain information about reputable canine organizations and rescues, networking with as many of these as possible to place adoptable dogs in responsible, loving environments, either through foster care or whenever possible, forever homes. We are a home based foster group with no adoption facility. We adopt to North Carolina but in special circumstances can go out of state. We use every pro-bono means at our disposal to raise public awareness about homeless animals and responsible pet care as well as to find homes for our dogs. Dogs who are not adopted will live out their lives at Ruff Love.
Ruff Love Rescue is run entirely by volunteers. We have full time jobs and save dogs in our spare time. Currently RLR has over 100 dogs. Since 1999, Sue Rogers, President/Founder and RLR volunteers have found forever homes for hundreds of homeless dogs.
