About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Thor
Thor thrives with adopters who understand his medical needs—past knee surgeries and lifelong environmental allergies requiring ongoing monitoring—and can limit cement time and avoid intense exercise. He's a 120-pound love bug who'd do best in a home without cats, ideally with other dogs to play with and plenty of space for his moderately active lifestyle.
- Not suitable for homes with cats; approaches them with excessive energy.
- Requires ongoing medical management for environmental allergies and post-surgical knee care.
- May not be fully aware of his own strength when playing with smaller dogs.
- Dislikes fireworks, water, and enclosed stairways.
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Last Hope Animal Rescue to confirm any details before adopting.

Last Hope Animal Rescue
RescueLast Hope Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Formed in March of 2004, we are an all volunteer animal rescue group comprised of foster homes in the greater Cedar Rapids area. Many of our animals come from local kill shelters, as their time has run out due to any number of reasons including lack of space, not deemed adoptable, special needs, etc. Our purpose is to save as many homeless, abused, abandoned, hard to place, neglected animals that we can and to place as many animals as possible into loving, forever homes where they will be cherished.
