Meet Spirit! This 5-year-old will be the most wonderful addition to any family. He was given a second chance at life when he was pulled from the city shelter, and he has met that chance with nothing but gratitude and love. He's an affectionate snuggle bug who loves curling up in your lap while you watch TV or read. Chin scratches are his absolute favorite (the limit truly does not exist). When he meets new people, he comes right over, flops onto his back with his belly up, and hopes you'll take the hint! Spirit does have asthma, which is currently well supported with simple environmental changes like a dust-free home and a humidifier, and he'll be starting an inhaler to help even more. Thankfully, he's an absolute doll-so sweet and trusting that giving him his inhaler will be a breeze.He's curious, but very respectful, always wanting to sniff and inspect the world around him, never causing a mess or getting into trouble. Despite everything he's been through, he has never hissed, growled, scratched, or bitten. He genuinely wouldn't hurt a fly! Spirit wears his heart on his sleeve… and you can hear it. When he gets excited, his breathing gives him away, and thanks to his asthma he has the cutest little silent meow you've ever heard!Spirit loves to play. His favorite hobbies include batting toys around, watching birds and squirrels from the window, making biscuits on his favorite humans, and falling asleep in the funniest positions.
