Steel's story began on the streets of NYC, where he was found with bruises and burns on his paws.Injuries and scars of his past did not dull his spirit: this resilient boy has blossomed into a goofy, affectionate dog with a big personality and even bigger heart.He's strong, playful, and full of life, the kind of dog who loves his toys (maybe a little too much!) and is always ready for fun. Steel knows his commands like sit, down, paw, and stay, and he's shown great progress on leash. He's happiest when he's close to his people, sometimes even standing right between your legs just to be near you.Steel also has a funny obsession with orange traffic cones; he finds them absolutely fascinating and can turn any walk into an adventure!Steel is looking for a loving, patient adopter who can continue guiding him as he learns and grows.
