Hi! My name is Riley!I am only 2 years old. I once had a home, since I was a little kitten. But one day that changed. Suddenly, my person started packing everything up in our home, I thought maybe we were going on an adventure together. But instead she packed me up as well, and I was left in a new, unfamiliar place. I heard something like "no pets allowed" in their conversation. I don't know what that means. I just know that I felt a very heavy feeling in my chest. Everything I knew changed after hearing those words. I stopped eating, my confusion overwhelmed me. I hope my old parent is ok. I realized this new place was treating me very nicely. They pet me and talked softly to me, a familiar feeling I used to feel as a kitten that I loved - and eventually I began to let out loud purrs like I used to and follow them around for more. They say I am very sweet, and I will find my forever home some day. I guess that means I am not staying here either.
