Hey there, everyone! I'm an affectionate gentle-giant brown tabby who's just a big teddy bear. Tom is my name, and Love is my game. I'm ready to soak up any attention that my foster meowmy wants to lavish on me. We have fantastic cuddling sessions as we binge on Netflix together. When she gently massages my head or scratches my cheeks, chin, and ear, all I can say is "Meowy Wowwy!" In fact, I'm quite the chatterbox, and we have deep discussions while we watch the Great British Bake Off, which makes sense since I'm a professional biscuit-maker.
Don't look at my plus size (from my big bones, not my addiction to treats) and think I'm a couch potato. Nor siree! I cherish the time that Foster Meowmy spends interactively playing with me - especially when she swirls the wand-toy over my head to watch my basketball alley-oops as I slam dunk it . . . or she wiggles a wide string for me to chase around the room. I can even entertain myself playing with my stuffed lizard toy or running through the cat tunnel.
Starting when I was a kitten, I was a friendly neighborhood stray who visited my future foster pawrents every day for two years for breakfast and dinner. I thought they'd never get the hint that I'd like to be invited in to enjoy the safe haven of their home, but finally my winning charm and an imminent cold snap help them decide to bring me inside. I'd gotten along great with some of the other outdoor strays, but I was not prepared for the cold shoulder I received from the two resident male cats -- despite my non-aggressive curiosity to meet them. So I've lived my best life restricted to the guest bedroom, where I have to wait for my foster pawrents' visits -- when all I want is to be with my hoomans all the time!
I have the best social manners that you could ever want. Foster Meowmy's chest puffs up with pride over all the compliments about my good behavior and easy handling at vet appointments. She's also amazed that I don't mind getting in the carrier and riding over in the car. Despite the fact that her boys display no such stellar behavior, I'm the new kid on the block; so I'm the one who's "just passin' through" until HOPE can match me with a fantastic new family whose cats don't feel threatened by me. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I can't wait to schmooze with you as I make biscuits on your knee while you scratch my ears! I'm just dreaming of having free rein of the house and of spending all possible time with my new family. Now that's "Meowy Wowwy!"
