He is a medium energy guy who loves a good game of fetch in the yard (although he is not great at bringing the ball back), daily afternoon walks, and then burrowing under the covers for a cozy snuggle session at night. He would be a wonderful fit for an active family ready to play hard and then wind down together at the end of the day. Although if you live a couch potato lifestyle he is also more than ready to acquiesce to your routine.Harper gets along well with the resident dogs in his foster home and loves playing with them. What's that? Someone heard something in the corner of the yard? He must prance over to thoroughly investigate. He can be enthusiastic and persistent when meeting new dogs, so slower introductions work best to set everyone up for success. He has not been around cats, but his sweet and social nature suggests he would likely do fine with a proper, gradual introductions. He loved playing his southern foster family's kids and would be a great fit for a family of any kind. Like all pitties, he can be a little bit of a bowling ball from time-to-time, but the most damage he will do is resting his giant blockhead on your lap so you have to use all your strength if you need to move off the sofa.Harper is a smart, easygoing boy who is fully crate trained and settles in throughout the day and overnight without any issues. He is fully house trained on a consistent daily routine.
