Hi, I'm Piper, and I am 7 years old. I'm a very sweet, friendly older girl looking for a new lease on life. I was adopted from the shelter in 2019 and was recently returned due to my owner going into a nursing home. Due to me not enjoying the company of other animals, family members could not take me in. However, they had wonderful things to say about me! I am housetrained and free reign wonderfully in the home when my owners are gone. I walk well on the leash and am used to a fenced in yard where I go to do my business! I can be a little reserved of new people at first, but I did well with the grandchildren that came over! The first time I came into the shelter in 2019, I was very pregnant and gave birth to a litter of beautiful puppies. I am a retired mama that is looking for a new couch to snuggle on!When you come to the shelter to meet me, I am not going to bond with you. I am still adjusting to the shelter life and I am not understanding what happened to me. I am shut down at the moment.
