He's timid at first and will absolutely hide while he figures out his new world. He doesn't hiss, swat, or show aggression - he simply prefers to disappear until he feels safe. But once he settles in, he blossoms quietly. He bonds beautifully with other cats, nuzzles them at night, and plays with toys when the house is still. He enjoys soft food, nighttime toy adventures, and the freedom to explore at his own pace.

Beatnik is litterbox trained, gentle, intelligent, and wonderfully low‑maintenance. He's not a fan of chaos, loud commotion, or pushy dogs, but he does well with calm cats, respectful kids, and patient adults. He's the definition of an independent, aloof companion who will one day surprise you with a head bump or a slow blink that feels like winning the lottery.
