Clover is an Airedale Terrier with the happiest little spirit and the most adorable full-body wiggles-her signature happy wiggle is guaranteed to make you smile. She absolutely adores her humans and loves them fiercely. In fact, her excitement when you come home is something truly special-she may just be the happiest greeter you'll ever meet.
Clover is affectionate, gentle, and incredibly loving. She's a big fan of belly rubs and will quickly roll onto her back in sweet, submissive fashion to ask for more. She enjoys toys, chewing on bully sticks, and being close to her people-whether that's playing nearby or curling up for some quiet time together.
She is wonderful with kids and has such a soft, patient nature, making her a lovely family companion. She also does well with other dogs and tends to be more unsure around unfamiliar people than canine friends. Clover can be a bit timid at times and may startle with new or unexpected things, but she is already making great progress and continues to build confidence each day.
Clover is working on leash training and improving steadily. She knows the command "come" and is eager to please, especially when given gentle encouragement. She is not yet crate trained and may bark or take some time to settle when crated, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will help her feel more comfortable.
Despite her occasional nervousness, Clover has the sweetest, most joyful disposition. She has already opened up so much in her foster home and continues to blossom into a more confident, playful, and trusting companion.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal dog with a heart full of love (and the cutest little wiggles to match), Clover is ready to find her forever family.
Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter's expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.
