Prosecco is the perfect name for this little girl who sparkles whenever she meets a new lap in which she can snuggle. Prosecco is a 4.5-month-old shepherd mix sweetheart with a black coat, tan paws and a desire for a new home and family.Prosecco currently weighs 22 pounds, and it is estimated she will be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when she is fully grown. Although Prosecco gets along well with dogs and cats and children, she is happiest when she can stay indoors enjoying treats and human companionship.Prosecco is working at her house and leash training. Rescue dogs should be expected to have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, family and routines. She is extremely treat motivated so keeping a few dog-friendly yummies on hand will make training a snap. If crate training is anticipated, Prosecco requires a crate that lets her lie down, stand up and turn around. Crates should never be used for punishment, should be warm and cozy.Prosecco should be able to go in and out as she desires during training.
