Looking for a best friend with a wagging tail and a heart of gold? Meet Maggie. This sweet 10-month-old Shepherd mix arrived at the doorstep of a stranger to her as she was a stray and immediately won over every heart person she meets. She spreads joy to everyone and happily soaks up the attention her kind spirit naturally attracts.Maggie has a lovely tan and black short coat and big brown eyes that draw you right in. At 41 pounds, she is likely close to her full-grown size, making her a medium sized dog (30 to 50 pounds). She enjoys playing with other dogs and does well with children. She has not yet met cats since coming into rescue, so her compatibility with them is currently unknown. Her skills, including crate training, house training, and walking nicely on a leash, are all in progress. With her eager to please personality and quick mind, she is a wonderful student who will continue to thrive with consistency, guidance, and love from her forever family. If Maggie sounds like the dog for you, apply now!* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
