There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe just how special is the beautiful Salem. A 1.5-year-old Yellow Labrador mixed breed bundle of energy and love, Salem is looking for a family that will give her plenty of attention and affection. Salem weighs 38 pounds, making her a medium sized canine (31-60 pounds). She is so smart that she already has lots of tricks in her bag of delights and is most happy when she can be around people so she can entertain them with her quick wit. Salem gets along great with other dogs. Children will delight in her antics and play. It is not known whether Salem is happy around cats.Salem is already housetrained and crate trained and runs to her crate when it is mealtime. She is working on her leash training. It is important to remember that even trained dogs like Salem may have accidents as they adjust to a new home and new routines. If crate use is planned, Salem deserves a crate that is big enough for her to stand in, turn around and lie down.
