Meet Butter, because everything is better with a little Butter and this sweet guy is ready to melt your heart. At just 4 months old, this gorgeous, short white haired German Shepherd mix is already a 31-pound chunk of joy. Butter is expected to become a large breed cuddle buddy weighing between 61 and 90 pounds. This just means there willbe more of him to love and possibly less room for you on the couch.Butter enjoys being with other dogs and children. He would thrive in an active household with a big yard or a family that loves outdoor adventures to help him expend his puppy energy. A home with another playful dog and/or kids who can keep up with his antics would be an absolute dream. Butter has not been introduced to cats so it is unknown how he will be with them.Right now, Butter is a work in progress, which is a polite way of saying his house, leash, and crate training are all currently under construction. The perfect family for Butter is one that is ready to embrace both the chaos and the comedy of the puppy phase. You will need to invest time in daily training, socialization, and burning off that endless puppy energy so he grows into the polite, well-mannered big boy we know he can be.If you are ready to trade a little bit of shoe leather for a lifetime of unconditional devotion and spectacular backyard sprint sessions, Butter is your boy. He is fully prepared to fill your home with laughter, giant tail wags, and the best cuddles a growing boy can offer. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Butter is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
