Feta is a 6-month-old, 50-pound mixed-breed male with a steady temperament. He's well on his way to being fully potty-trained, and already knows "sit." He's happily working on leash walking, crate training, "down," and "stay." His food motivation makes training straightforward and fun.
Although still a puppy, Feta is already medium energy and even-tempered. He enjoys playtime (fetch with a ball or stuffie is a favorite), but is not relentless or overwhelming. And he genuinely loves being part of the gang: he wants to be where his two- and four-legged family members are. And if they want to play or cuddle, even better!
Due to his past, Feta is a bit hesitant with strangers and benefits from slow, thoughtful introductions with other dogs. With some patience, he has settled in well with his foster family. He is a great little brother to the foster family's female dog and loves snuggling with her in the crate.
Good to know: Feta is very curious about small animals (especially birds) so a home without cats or other small pets would likely be best for him.
He could be a great fit for a family with older kids who understand how to interact respectfully with a dog. Feta is at that ideal age where training, bonding, and confidence-building will pay off quickly.
Bottom line: Feta is a promising young dog-trainable, playful, and emotionally steady-who will thrive in a home willing to invest in his growth.
