Nivea

Nivea is a young, 52-pound Malinois mix with a playful, puppy-ish personality and loads of potential. She's friendly and waggy with people, very food motivated, and loves the idea of playing with other dogs. She'd do best with appropriately matched canine friends or as a solo dog with dog buddies.

On a recent field trip, Nivea showed how alert and engaged she is with the world. She was a bit anxious in the car and very curious on leash, starting out distracted and impatient but improving with clear guidance and a shorter leash. While she can get overstimulated on longer outings, she responded well to structure and direction.

True to her breed and age, Nivea is energetic and still learning her manners. She can be jumpy when excited and is working on gentle treat-taking, but she's smart, eager, and highly trainable with positive reinforcement. Nivea is best suited for a breed-experienced, active adopter who can provide consistent training, exercise, and enrichment. She's going to be a fantastic adventure partner!
