Yeti

Yeti is a 1-year-old, 51-pound shepherd mix with a gentle heart. She was surrendered due to financial reasons and previously lived with cats. The shelter was overwhelming for her, but she's now blossoming in foster care.

Her fosters report Yeti is an easy roommate who snores adorably. She's potty and crate trained, and can be left alone uncrated without barking or destroying anything (she usually stays on the couch!). She's still learning leash skills but has great recall indoors and shows lots of potential as a trainable hiking buddy.

Yeti is sweet, playful, and phenomenal with the resident dogs. She enjoys calm, gentle play and would do well with a friendly dog companion or as a solo dog with dog friends. She can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but after a few minutes she relaxes and is happy to hang out.
