Harley

Harley is a 3-year-old, 62-pound mystery mix with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. She came to the shelter as a stray and was very underweight, but thanks to foster care, she's been healing, gaining strength, and showing off her sweet personality.

Harley is affectionate and people-oriented. She happily approaches new friends, enjoys treats, and will rub up against you for extra pets. Good thing too, because her beautiful merle coat and heterochromatic eyes mean she's quite the attention magnet! But even better than pets, if there's a lap available, she wants to be in it.

In her foster home, Harley is mostly house-trained (she rarely will have accidents, and will let you know when she has to go outside) and sleeps happily in her crate both overnight and when she has to be left alone. She's a great passenger in the car and is very patient in the bath. One thing she is NOT is a picky eater - she will happily eat whatever is your kibble of choice!

For now, Harley is recommended as the only dog in the home, as she's still learning how best to interact with other dogs.
