Baldwin

Baldwin is a calm six-year-old German Shepherd mix with a charm that's hard to resist. At 65 pounds, he brings a gentle, grounded presence wherever he goes. He's affectionate in a thoughtful way, leaning in for pets when you kneel beside him, especially if a good butt scratch is offered.

Polite and well-mannered, Baldwin knows his basic commands, walks well on leash, and has good recall. His foster families have all said he's very sweet, easygoing, and a true Velcro dog. He's neutral around cats and tolerant of playful kittens. He also gets along with dogs most of the time, but prefers to be the only dog in the home. He's enjoyed playing with children but may "herd" toddlers, so he's best with older kids.
