Claremont

Claremont is a 4-year-old, 61-pound pittie mix who is pure joy on four legs! This wiggly, affectionate girl loves turning every walk into a love-fest. She may start out eager and bouncy, but she quickly settles into a happy rhythm, pressing close for pets and showering her person with full-body wiggles. She takes treats gently and lights up with playful wags when she knows attention is coming her way.

We got an update on Claremont from her foster home- she did well in her foster home coexisting with other dogs. She enjoys going on walks in quiet areas with lots of time for sniffing and exploring. She barks a bit at other dogs, likely out of excitement and does best when you can move her along quickly. She is potty trained and is very polite houseguest and enjoys being relaxed in the same room as her people.

At the shelter, Claremont plays with other gentle dogs and could thrive in a home with other well-matched pups, or as a solo dog with occasional dog friends.
