Butterfingers

Meet Butterfingers, a tenderhearted, 2-year-old pittie mix with soft eyes, floppy-tipped ears, and a spirit that's finally getting the chance to shine. He looks a little worried at first, but give him a moment and he lights up, hopping toward you with a wiggly greeting and happily climbing into your lap for cuddles. He LOVES gentle snuggles, face kisses, and staying close to the people he trusts.

Butterfingers is recovering from surgery to remove things he shouldn't have eaten, so he'll need an adopter who can help him continue healing with patience, structure, and careful supervision around food and tempting objects. When food isn't present, he's calm, affectionate, and wonderfully sweet.

With other dogs, Butterfingers is relaxed and independent, preferring to quietly observe rather than jump into the action. He may enjoy a well-matched canine companion or could be perfectly content as your one-and-only.
