Dasha

Dasha is a 6-year-old, 68-pound German shepherd mix with a sensitive, observant nature. She tends to take in the world at her own pace, enjoying quiet exploration and forming connections over time. She also has a sweet, affectionate side, leaning in for pets and offering soft kisses.

On a recent field trip, Dasha rode well in the car and handled a busy environment with calm curiosity. She passed people, dogs, and even ducks with polite interest, and seemed to truly enjoy sniffing and exploring. While she can be sensitive to loud noises or unfamiliar objects, she showed resilience by pausing to assess and then moving on with gentle encouragement.

Dasha bonds deeply once she feels safe and would thrive in a calm, predictable home. While she's friendly when meeting other dogs, she would much prefer to be the only dog in the home to soak up all of your love.
