Meet Burberry, a 4-year-old, 67-pound shepherd mix with resilience, brains, and a playful spark. This handsome stray has had a rough past, arriving with painful untreated infections. His ears are now medicated, his surgical sites are healing, and his once-dull coat is finally shiny and clean.

Despite everything, Burberry has maintained a joyful outlook. Toss him a plush toy and he lights up with silly zoomies and frolics around like a carefree pup. He knows sit, enjoys pets, and handled his spa day like a champ, even with some sensitive spots.

When meeting other dogs, he has been calm and neutral, though he's shown increasing barrier frustration in the shelter setting. He may do well with a well-matched dog friend or as a solo pup with appropriate social time.
