Ollie

Ollie is a 3-year-old orange tabby with floofy fur and the kind of big, round tomcat face that's hard not to love. He spent his whole life as the cherished indoor companion of a quiet two-person household, which makes the shelter a difficult adjustment - he's been visibly homesick, and volunteers have been rooting for him to find his people.

In his previous home, Ollie was described as a cuddly, gentle, and playful cat, and glimpses of that personality do surface here: He likes treats, accepts chin scratches, will offer soft blinks to a patient visitor who just sits and talks to him, and perks up for wand toys. Ollie needs an experienced adopter who understands that a cat's shelter behavior isn't always who they really are, and who can give this sweet, sad boy a calm home and the time he needs to remember how good life can be.
