Puzzle

Puzzle is a 1-year-old, 53-pound shepherd mix with striking eyes and a personality just as captivating as his looks. He's a bright, affectionate pup who balances playful energy with a desire to connect with his people.

On a recent field trip, Puzzle was a spirited walker with a strong nose and an independent streak. He was eager to explore, sniff, and check out the world around him. Passing dogs caught his attention, though he wasn't much interested in other people and mostly ignored wildlife. Car rides seemed stressful for him, but with patience and practice, he's bound to feel more comfortable.

At the shelter, Puzzle enjoys chase games with his dog friends. He would do well in a home with another playful dog, or solo with playdates.

Puzzle is smart, responsive, and loves working for treats. He's working on leash manners and gentle greetings, and would thrive in a home ready to embrace his energy and curiosity with training, structure, and lots of love.
