Janie

Janie is a 2-year-old, 54-pound pittie mix who's blossomed into an affectionate and fun sweetheart. While she was initially nervous, she's quickly showing off her silly, sweet personality.

Janie loves to stay busy, whether that's sniffing out everything, chasing a tennis ball, or inviting you to play with a bouncy little play bow. She's treat-motivated, already knows sit, and is starting to learn paw. She will happily lean in for pets or hop up to say hello.

On a recent field trip to a park, Janie was delightfully happy and energetic. She jumped right into the car, greeted people with a wagging tail, and was eager to explore the world around her. She sometimes pulls strongly on leash when excited, so she'll benefit from continued training and an active home that can keep up with her energy.

Janie is polite around other dogs but tends to do her own thing. She could do well with another well-matched dog or be your one-and-only at home.

With time, patience, and lots of love, this playful girl is going to make an incredibly rewarding companion.
