Kirkland

Kirkland is a striking young Siberian Husky mix, weighing 58 pounds, with a sharp mind and a curious, engaging personality. This boy is equal parts playful, smart, and affectionate, making him a wonderful companion for an active adopter.

Trick star: Kirkland loves to show off his skills-he knows sit, paw, and down, and even catches treats mid-air. He'll happily perform his tricks for anyone, including very young kids, earning him plenty of smiles and cheers.
Food-motivated learner: Treats are a favorite, and he takes them gently, which makes training both easy and fun.
Adventurous spirit: With a curious nose, Kirkland enjoys sniffing and exploring, and he especially perks up at the sight of squirrels.
Social and playful: He attends doggie playgroup and walks past well-mannered dogs calmly.
Affectionate sidekick: Once he feels comfortable, Kirkland happily flips over to show his belly, inviting a good belly rub and soaking up affection from his human friends.

Kirkland has a great balance of brains, play, and heart. With continued training and plenty of love, he'll make a devoted companion. He'd do well with appropriately matched canine friends or as the solo star of the household.
