Meet Henry!Henry is a sweet, people-focused boy who is starting to show more confidence as he settles in, even though the shelter has been stressful for him. In a home, he’s shown he can be a calm, easy companion—he’s house-trained, crate-trained, rides well in the car, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and stay/crate. He enjoys a quiet environment and being close to his person.Henry does form strong attachments and will need a home willing to help him work through separation anxiety with patience, structure, and support as he builds confidence being alone.He has done well with other dogs, often taking a more laid-back approach at first but beginning to engage in play more over time.Henry is not suited for a home with cats, as he has shown a strong prey drive.At heart, Henry is a loyal, gentle dog who thrives with companionship. With the right home, he has all the potential to continue growing into a wonderful best friend.
