If you've been dreaming of a dog who is equal parts athlete, cuddle‑bug, and lovable weirdo… allow us to introduce HErkimer-a high‑energy sweet boy who believes life has exactly three purposes: love your humans, chase the ball, and show off your stuffies.

Herkimer is a social butterfly who greets new people like long‑lost friends-expect enthusiastic tail wags and a few happy kisses. He adores adults and older kids, and he's an absolute champ with teens. With younger kids, he's more of a "let's respect each other's space" kind of guy.

He gets along great with other dogs (especially the ones at his auntie's house!) though at the dog park he tends to forget they exist because, well… BALL. Nothing in the universe outranks the ball. Except maybe belly rubs.

Herkimer is also cat‑compatible-he lived peacefully with a feline roommate and is politely curious when he spots them on walks.

Quirk alert: Herkimer loves his people so much that sometimes he gets so excited he tinkles a tiny bit when you come home. Don't worry-he's house and potty trained; he just has overflowing joy and limited bladder chill.

He's proud of his stuffies (he knows which ones are his), loves swimming, loves dry kibble (don't even try wet food-he's above that nonsense), and would happily run all day if someone let him.

Herkimer would thrive in a very active home with a yard, loving humans, and maybe other pets. No small or super hyper kiddos, please-he prefers calm(er) energy from the younger crowd.
