Hi, hello! My name is Ridgee, but you can call me Your New Favorite Shadow!

I'm a 6-month-old poodle/heeler mix with a very important job: being as close to my humans as physically possible at all times. Some people say "velcro dog"… I say personal assistant. Need help walking? I'm under your feet. Need help going upstairs? I'm learning those just so I can supervise you properly.



Let's get the important stuff out of the way:

I am 95%% potty trained. The remaining 5%%? Look… the dark is suspicious. Very suspicious. If you could just escort me outside like the brave bodyguard you are in the early morning or late at night, we'll be golden. During the day, I use the open door like a professional. Honestly, I think that deserves praise. Speaking of which…

I am NOT food motivated. Treats? Meh.

Your approval? Your praise? Your love??

I would climb a mountain for that.

I love toys. All toys. Every toy. If it squeaks, even better. If you play with me? Even more better. (I'm still a puppy, grammar is a work in progress.)

At night, I don't love my kennel… but after a brief 5-minute "I would like to file a complaint" speech, I settle down and sleep like an angel. You're welcome.

I love tennis balls and soft toys!

I should also mention: I come with a premium cuddle package.

Snuggles? Yes.

Leaning into you like I weigh 500 pounds? Also yes.

Staring at you like you are the center of my universe? Absolutely yes.

I do get a little sad when my humans leave (because obviously you are amazing and I adore you), but if there's another dog around, I can usually be convinced that life is still worth living. That said… I will always pick humans first. No offense to dogs.
