Hi, I'm Cyclops! I'm a 2 year old Parson Russell terrier mix and weigh about 20 pounds. When I started out in a foster home I had my 7 puppies with me, but now they've moved on and I'm ready to find a new family!
In my foster home I've gotten along with dogs, cats, and chickens, and I especially love children. I'm house trained and crate trained, but my foster family doesn't bother with the crate anymore because I'm very well behaved.
I'm a very sweet, super smart girl and some of my favorite activities include going on walks/hikes/car rides, playing with kids and other dogs, meeting new people, chasing toys, training time (I'm very treat-motivated) and snuggling up with my humans.
I'm very agile and have a fair amount of energy but I'm pretty adaptable - I can keep up with long walks/runs and play fetch or run around with other dogs for an hour or more, but I can also settle down just fine with shorter walks or a little bit of play time.
Fair warning: I am a barker. I like to bark at pretty much everything I see from the house/yard, and sometimes bark while on walks or car rides too. My foster mom thinks it's partly from feeling like I always needed to be on guard to protect my puppies, and in the weeks since they left I've made a lot of progress and will usually stop barking when asked, but I'm very alert and want to make sure you know when I see or hear something so I'm hoping some barking isn't a deal breaker.
