Himmel

Himmel didn't have the best start to life but since being fostered, has seen and done so many things to make him a brave and well-rounded puppy.

He is a 5 month old, cattle dog mix, currently 10 pounds. He will probably grow to 30 pounds max we are guessing.

He has been around young children, other dog(including in dog parks), roads, horses, large crowds and been for long car journeys.
He has been in pet stores and grooming salons, he has also had his nails done a few times.

He approached all these things with enthusiasm and new adventures.

Himmel is food motivated making him highly trainable and likes to stick close to his human on walks. He is not a picky eater and responds great to chews.

As well as running and playing, at down time he will love a snuggle and settles well with other dogs in communal areas.

One of his best points is he will sleep well all night in his crate, rarely waking to pee despite being a baby.

Things we are currently working on:

Walking to heel. He is learning as expected for a puppy his age.
Recall. Great until there is a chance of a snack. But we get it, snacks are good.
House training. Due to his slow start in life inside a home environment, he is still working on holding his bladder for the outdoors. He can make it to the puppy pads and never dirties his crate but we watch him closely to try and help him wait until he goes outside to do a tinkle.

Himmel will make someone a great sidekick and will bring a family great company, adventures, and snuggles on a lazy day.
