I'm a quiet, tender soul who is still learning what it means to be a dog with people. I didn't get much practice being out in the world before now, so I'm not the bold, bouncy type. I feel safest in my crate (I actually love it), and when things feel overwhelming, I like to tuck myself into a cozy corner and watch from there.

I'm incredibly calm and thoughtful. Other dogs make me feel a little uncomfortable, but I have been doing okay with my foster siblings. I'm mostly scared of them. I'm not a big explorer yet, and I've never been on a leash, but with time, patience, and lots of encouragement (especially the snack-based kind), I know I can learn. Speaking of snacks… food is my favorite love language. I've also shown some interest in playing with a ball!

I am crate trained and learning house-training fast. My foster mom is so proud because I'm consistently going outside on my own now. My muscles are still catching up as I didn't get to move around much before, but I'm slowly building strength. One of my favorite things is laying upside down, belly out, just quietly existing. It's my version of sparkling.
