Meet Denny - The Tender-Hearted Little Gentleman



Denny is a 3-year-old, ten pound Maltipoo with a sensitive soul and a heart that bonds deeply. He takes a few days to feel safe in a new environment. Consider it his thoughtful screening process. Once he trusts you, he absolutely melts. He'll curl into your arms, press into your chest, and look up at you like you're his entire world. It's the kind of bond you don't forget.



He's about 90%% potty trained when taken out four to five times a day and loves his walks, especially when they end with praise and a treat. Denny is eager to please and constantly checks in for cues, just wanting to know he's doing a good job. Making his person happy is his favorite hobby.



Once comfortable, his playful side comes out in the sweetest way. He'll start smiling, playing gently, and showing you that soft, joyful personality that makes your heart melt. He's a world-class cuddler who prefers to be tucked next to you, or better yet, in your arms.



Denny does well with small dogs and cats. He's great in the car and does beautifully at the vet. When new people enter the home, he may voice his opinion at first, not because he's brave, but because he's unsure. Give him a little time and he settles once he realizes he's safe.



Because he's such a sensitive boy, he would thrive in a calm home with adults or older children who understand gentle energy. He prefers slow introductions, but patience with Denny is always rewarded. He tolerates the crate, though if left alone he may sing a ballad about it.



Denny isn't fragile. He's loyal, deeply attached, and loves hard. For the right person, he won't just be a pet. He'll be your shadow, your quiet companion, and the sweetest little soul who looks at you like you hung the moon.
