Spaghetti Bolognese

Hi! My name is Spaghetti Bolognese, but you will be able to call me anything in the right tone of voice and I'll get excited! I'm a female Terrier mix with a lovely scruffy wiry coat and I'm around 10 months old. I weigh around 15 pounds right now but I'm eating like I intend to put on a few more for my ideal weight which will likely be around 20 pounds.

I am cautious going into new experiences or environments, but I guess it's natural since I was found wandering the streets looking for my next meal. I'm slowly starting to enjoy this family life. I love ALL the toys in the house, especially my ball. My favorite time is chasing my ball in the backyard or just being a couch potato. I love my kennel because it serves as my base and safe place, and I venture out more and more each day and have become more comfortable with different parts of the house that my foster parents expose me to. I'm learning so many new things like walking on a leash and basic commands. I'm doing so well with potty training on a schedule. I absolutely love being with my humans but need a slow introduction to others. I'm looking for a calm, patient and loving home that allows a good balance of moving at my own pace while also challenging me with new things. I would do best with older dog savvy kids and cats are unknown. I like other dogs and would prefer to have another dog show me the ropes.
