Oakley, affectionately known as "Dottie girl " by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please! This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families. Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way. She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance. This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt. Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash. When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.
