Hi, my name is Toby, and I'm a handsome green-eyed gray tabby gentleman with a big heart and an even bigger appreciation for the good life. I'm estimated to be around 3-4 years old, and I've officially decided that my days of living outdoors are behind me. Just in time for the cold winter weather, a kind lady rescued me from the elements and showed me something I'd been missing-comfort, safety, and kindness. Now I dream of a forever home with a soft blanket, a cozy couch, and a sunny window where I can relax and watch the world go by. Even though I spent time outside, I have wonderful social skills. I may take a moment to be sure you're my friend, but once I know you mean well, I warm up quickly and enjoy companionship. I used to think people were scary-but I've learned they can also be loving, gentle, and trustworthy. I enjoy playful moments and little antics that keep things entertaining, and my foster mom proudly says I am a GREAT CAT. There is one important thing to know about me: I am FIV-positive, something I likely inherited from my mom. The good news? I am healthy, happy, and living life just like any other cat. FIV is manageable, and many FIV-positive cats live long, full lives. Please take a look at the flyer in my photos-it explains everything clearly and helpfully.
If you're looking for a sweet, grateful companion who truly appreciates the warmth of a loving home, I might just be your guy. For more information about Toby, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at
