A high-energy supermodel with serious herding instincts and a passion for fetch, Malachai would thrive with an active person or family who can keep up with his zest for life.

He's the ultimate workout buddy-whether it's running, hiking, or agility training, Malachai is ready to be your energetic sidekick. He's whip-smart, eager to please, and learns quickly with consistent guidance and structure.

That said, Malachai is a classic Aussie: he

needs

a job and plenty of structured, daily exercise to be his best self. Without it, he'll let you know-he can get vocal and excited on walks, especially when the leash comes out, so he's still working on polite leash manners.

Malachai currently lives with three other high-energy dogs, but he prefers to be the center of attention. He would do best as the "one and only," though he

might

do well with a single, energetic female dog who matches his drive and doesn't mind sharing the spotlight. No cats, please.

He's good with kids, but due to his herding tendencies, a home with older children (12+) or adults only would be ideal.
