Meet George - a handsome 3.5-year-old male Labradoodle (black).

George has lived with his family since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, due to his owner's health problems, they can no longer provide him with the care and active home he deserves.
George is a primarily indoor dog who enjoys companionship. He has lived with both dogs and kids, though he has not spent much time directly with children. He can be anxious and protective of his people, sometimes showing reactive behaviors like growling. With visitors, George starts off cautious and overly excited, but after a few minutes, he relaxes and becomes affectionate and loving.
George would do best with a family that understands his energy and is patient with his initial reactivity, giving him the time he needs to settle in and feel secure.
