Hilde (the mom) approx 3 years old; 8.5 pounds; Yorkie mix

Puppies: Floki (male), Gorm (male), Lagertha (female) and Ragnar (male)

Reason for intake: These cuties came to us from animal control in northeast Louisiana, along three other pups. We took in EIGHT in one day. That's a lot... but we made it work! They've all been vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, etc. We did pull momma from her pups so she could dry up and get spayed the week of 5/11/2026. No more puppies for her!

As for the puppies, we'll post them for adoption soon and they'll be ready to leave after they get their second round of vaccinations in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned!

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
