Maple

Maple is a 1-year-old, 65 lb mixed breed sweetheart with the softest eyes and an even softer heart. Despite everything she’s been through, Maple greets people with tail wags, gentle affection, and a smile that makes you instantly fall in love with her.

Maple recently came into the shelter with an old leg injury that will require an amputation, but don’t feel too sorry for her — dogs are incredibly resilient, and Maple is already showing everyone just how strong and adaptable she is. What she needs now is love, comfort, and the chance to finally live pain free.

She’s social with other dogs, loves attention from people, and has that easygoing “best friend” kind of personality. The kind of dog who leans into you for pets and makes herself right at home in your heart.

We know her journey isn’t over yet, but one thing is already clear: Maple deserves a life full of comfort, happiness, and second chances. And we have a feeling she’s going to make someone very, very lucky.
