Andrew - or Andy, as his friends call him - is a sweet and cuddly pup who loves being close to his people. His favorite place to nap is right in your lap, and he's always happy to soak up affection whenever he can.Andy enjoys playtime too and especially loves games of tug-of-war or chasing after toys tossed his way. He'll happily follow you around the house to see what you're up to, but he's also starting to show a little independence as he explores on his own. He's making great progress with potty training and has already figured out that outside is the place to go. Andy is also a great sleeper - after just a little settling at bedtime, he sleeps through the night and heads right out for a potty break in the morning.Andy is a curious and confident little guy who isn't bothered by wind or loud noises - he simply wants to investigate and learn about the world. With his loving personality and sweet nature, Andy is sure to grow into a loyal and devoted companion for a lucky family. This pup was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
