Berry arrived as a stray, but you would never guess it by how social and affectionate he is. He absolutely loves people and is a true social butterfly. He greets everyone with a happy expression and is always ready to make a new friend. He also does beautifully with other dogs and enjoys being part of the group, making him a great fit for a home with canine companions. While he has a slightly playful side, Berry is mostly laid back and carries a balanced medium energy level. He enjoys interaction and activity but also knows how to relax and settle in. He is treat motivated, knows some basic obedience, and is great in his kennel and on leash. He is eager to learn and loves engaging with his people. Berry would thrive in a Border Collie or Aussie loving home that appreciates his intelligence, gentle spirit, and social nature. He is a stunning boy with a warm heart who is ready to love and be loved for the rest of his life. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
