Bear has been having the best time learning about life in his foster home, and it's been so rewarding to watch his personality blossom. He can be a little skittish when first meeting new people, but once he realizes you mean him no harm, his playful and affectionate side comes shining through.Once Bear feels comfortable, all the fun begins. He's a master snuggler who absolutely loves being close to his people. Expect plenty of kisses, hugs, and a loyal shadow following you around the house. Bear forms strong bonds with his humans and truly enjoys being part of the family.He's also a happy, energetic guy who loves being part of a pack. He does great with the routine of home life and is already potty trained. Bear has recently discovered toys and thinks squeaky ones are especially fascinating - watching him proudly squeak his toys is guaranteed to make you smile.Bear is still getting used to the idea of walking on a leash, which is something he'll continue to build confidence with over time. With a little patience and encouragement, he'll keep learning that the world outside the yard can be just as fun.Above all, Bear is a loving and loyal companion who listens well and just wants to be close to his people. As long as there's love, Bear can make himself at home anywhere. Bear was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.Meet and greets are by appointment only. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
