Harbor is a loving, gentle girl with a bright mind and an even bigger heart. She's incredibly smart and eager to learn - in less than a week she picked up "sit" and "down," and she's already doing great with "come." Snacks are definitely her weakness, and she's always happy to show off her skills if treats are involved!Harbor has a sweet balance of playful puppy energy and calm affection. She'll zoom around for a bit and then happily settle into a warm lap for a cuddle or a nap. One of her most charming qualities is how quickly she can calm herself - a gentle palm on her head or a cozy blanket and she's ready to relax. She enjoys playing independently with her toys and loves her stuffies and Kong (with supervision). Harbor is doing well with her crate and settles quickly even if she voices her opinion for a moment. She's also working on potty training and making steady progress as she learns the routine. With her beautiful green eyes, affectionate nature, and eager-to-learn personality, Harbor is an A+ student who will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.his pup was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
